Whenever we have a moment to brag about our colleagues in the Mold Solutions or DryFx families, we like to jump on it. A few weeks ago we took a minute to spotlight, Leanne Winters, in our new series called the Employee Spotlight and now, I have some more news to share.
Thermal Imaging Training and Certification Course
Last week we had a group of employees complete their thermography training and certification, which is important because it’s one of the tools we use in our mold inspection process.
We use thermal imaging cameras to identify areas in the home or building where there are temperature abnormalities and also lead us to where moisture is prone to build up and lead to the growth of mold either within the walls or on other surfaces.
As you can imagine, there is a lot of information to learn about thermal imaging and the tools used to assist with it. Thermal Imaging involves a hand held camera used to help detect unseen wet walls, ceiling, floors and more. It uses Infrared technology to scan areas for temperature abnormalities, thus indicating possible water intrusions, mold or insulation deficiencies.
From Mold Solutions (Chicago location) Ed Maholovich, Adam Mrazek, and Ed Fox all completed the course and from DryFx, Mark Douma, Ryan Hunter, Will Ruiz and Ryan Haas completed the course.
Congratulations to these guys for continuing their education in this industry and always striving to be the best and most knowledgeable in the market. We’re really proud of you!
