After six years of declining health and seeing over 30 specialists, the client was diagnosed with Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS). For a CIRS patient, “good enough” remediation isn’t an option; the home environment must be meticulously cleared of mold and biotoxins to allow the immune system to heal. Having already lost thousands of dollars to a failed remediation by a previous company, the client turned to Chris Molinet and the Mold Solutions team for a scientifically rigorous, medically necessary intervention.
Medical Necessity: Even microscopic mold exposure could trigger severe inflammatory symptoms for the client.
Previous Failure: A prior company failed to contain the area properly, resulting in wasted funds and persistent contamination.
Complexity: The project required specialized containment, extra air filtration, and coordination with outside medical protocols.
To meet the high standards required for a CIRS-safe environment, Mold Solutions implemented a multi-phase strategy focused on transparency and precision.
1. Objective Assessment
We helped the client coordinate with an independent environmental hygienist. By bringing in a third-party expert for the initial assessment, we ensured the remediation plan was based on objective data rather than guesswork.
2. Specialized Containment & Remediation
We established high-level containment zones to prevent cross-contamination. Our team addressed affected materials using industry-leading protocols, while Chris Molinet worked closely with the client to understand the specifics of CIRS.
Enhanced Filtration: As an extra precaution, we deployed additional air scrubbers throughout the home.
Education: We provided guidance on CIRS-safe cleaning products for the client to use long-term.
3. Independent Verification
We insisted on Post-Remediation Verification (PRV). The project was not considered complete until the independent hygienist confirmed the air quality met strict clearance standards.
“Having their work independently verified gave us tremendous confidence… It significantly improved our peace of mind and allowed us to move forward with medical treatment in a clean environment.”
Successful Clearance: The home passed all independent testing, confirming a mold-free environment.
Long-Term Partnership: Months later, when a new leak occurred, Mold Solutions responded the same day to assess the damage, confirming no mold had formed and providing immediate peace of mind.
Restored Safety: The client was finally able to begin their medical healing journey in a home that supported their recovery rather than hindering it.
